It should be obvious that NKorea is not going to give up the nuclear push. Why do people want to wait until they have developed and tested weapons? Now is the time to destroy the possibility of their getting further developed. Israel has the right idea to attack Iran before further development of nuclear weapons comes about. If NKorea starts to launch any missile, it should be destroyed before it leaves the launch platform. Total destructive means should also be ready if NKorea starts to use its artillery, etc that is positioned along the demilitarized zone or any of its other missiles. With all of the equipment that is available by SKorea, Japan, and the US; that should not be a problem. If this can be done non-nuclear that should be tried first but nuclear means should be ready also. Sitting on one's thumbs is no answer.
The north koreans are trying to gain propaganda concessions from south korea and the U.S. So, that north koreans can show their people how strong is their leadership. So, that north koreans can consolidade their power. This year n. korea is asking for a phone call from Obama. Next near the north koreans may ask for 2 phone calls from Obama. They want the phone call from Obana to use it as a propaganda toll. N. Koreans wants to show their people that they can demand anything they want from the U.S. such as a phone call from Obama. WITH NORTH KOREA, IT IS NOT WHAT MAKES SENSE, IT IS WHAT WORKS. So, a simple phone call from Obama may solve it for now. Afterwards, HOPE FOR THE BEST, PREPARE FOR THE WORST
