Gun law politics and the Newtown massacre

   These people that commit these crimes usually get their guns from law abiding citizens, either by breaking into homes, stealing their parents, etc. I feel this is the very reason that assault weapons or high capacity guns should be outlawed. They do not belong in anyone homes for anyone to get their hands on. PERIOD! Sandy Hook shooter went to his own mothers closet or safe or wherever she had them and committed this massacre. No place in her home should she have had these sort of weapons, and maybe today 26 people would still be alive.

     First off an assault weapon would be a M-16 which the military uses. Not an AR-15, it is called a sporting rifle, or an assault style rifle by those who aren't educated about guns. If fast food was banned then maybe there wouldn't be so many people dying of heart attacks. That doesn't mean that you have the right to ban it and take peoples choice away. Fact of the matter the shooter was not sane and would have made improvised weapons like bombs or knives and still killed those people. Lunatic - Gun = Lunatic that will still commit the crime, probably with something else (eg. car, knives, explosives, etc...)

     My usual response is go on the internet and google ONTARIO GLOVE no assault weapon just a hunting rifle and the person was able to do the same thing. Banning something will solve nothing.
