People have the right to defend themselves. Keeping a specific tool out of the hands of a criminal will not keep them from committing a crime. Reducing magazines sizes to possibly "save one life" is no grounds for sweeping restrictions on peoples natural rights; but allowing law abiding citizens to stop a criminal from killing 20 with a gun should be a logical conclusion. Concealed carry owners with large capacity magazines save lives every day, but you never hear about these heroes in the news. Taking away my ability to defend myself from criminals is a terrible idea. Gun Free Zones give criminals who don't obey laws the upper hand. Monsters like Adam Lanza can do whatever they want, weather it be with a bat, knife, crossbow, or terror bombing. Good people, who legally own firearms should have the right to protect themselves, their families, and the people around them from lunatics, and no amount of misguided emotional propaganda can take away my natural right to the second amendment, an amendment that shall not be infringed. The highest murder and violent crime rates occur in places with the most firearms restrictions, only 2 percent of all gun violence is committed with "Assault Weapons" of any kind. .6 percent are violent crimes. This legislation is a direct assault on the second amendment and like the ban of 94 will do nothing but make it harder on law abiding citizens to defend themselves.
These NRA loons defiantly do not even represent the majority of their own membership! What legitimacy do they even have anymore? Obviously they don't want any new legislation that cuts into their VERY profitable gun industry. Even at the expense of multitudinous American lives.
