   I liken Dorner's actions to that of Patrch Sherrill's assault on the post office he worked at in the 80's. Sherrill killed 14 and wounded about a half dozen before killing himself. The differences between the two cases lies in the selection of venue to which the attacks have been carried out: Sherrill at the post office and Dorner out in the streets. I look forward to you and your research team unearthing whatever truths that may be found about the accusations Dorner has listed in his manifesto concerning the LAPD and "Keeping them honest!"

   Its apparent Bratton is telling all... Dorner was screwed over by the system... and as they say,,,, revenge is best serve cold... while I don't agree with murdering people... I can understand how they ruined his life.... the system is broken, there is suppose to be review methods in place... there isnt !

   I soooo agree. This man is the product of our world, bullied to his breaking point. Everyone knows what the LA PD is about. He was not like the others and stood up for the weak only to have it turn around on him. His entire world changed al from those fellow officers who were dishonest. He served his country, and did so well. Too bad he was not heard ! It seemed he WAS the type of man we would want around!

   Mr Cooper, I was a Physician, seeing your piece on Mr Christopher Dorner, we all agree revenge is not the answer for what he has been put through, and was wrongfully penalized for being a minority. Being some one who is a minority, and wrong fully convicted because of race I can see and feel his anger. America is in denial, minorities are discriminated upon every day, less in the private sector and more in law enforcement, and justice system. After living in US for more than 30 years, and seen, heard all, Law enforcement, and justice system promotes racism in America. The Crime committed by Minorities in America is a direct result of injustice given to minorities.

     Anderson,
     Am not going to sit this one out. Mr. Donner might be dead, but the grievances he aired have not been addressed. 'A dead rat always stinks'. There are lots of them at the L.A.D.P, definitely. Christopher Donner... did not just want to kill people, they were not just people, not random people. He wasn't any gunman in the street. He had a specific target list. What do we learn from this episode?
     Read the manifesto! Something somewhere is not right.......do not give the police (read L.A.P.D) a free-pass, am not giving Mr. Donner one either. He was one of their own, they turned him into a killer by pushing him out when he asked to address the dark side of his employer, that is the bottom line!. Then comes the Former top cop- Mr. Bratton, with claims that he cannot recall him- Really, you think people are stupid sir? That is a hint how you were a part of the very problem Christopher tried to address. Oh! no he did not deserve to be heard, he is unstable, drenched, Crazy, a domestic terrorist-etc, etc, really?
     Common sense dictates that, his case or his complaints called for one review and this aftermath could have been a voided. Just one review! Donner cried, to have his tarnished name cleared. Doesn't anyone get this? The manifesto I read was not written by an idiot, rather by an educated person. Only those with one sided view will fail to see that. Both parties are to blame for the mayhem! That wasn't the way to go Mr. Donner and the L.A.D.P brass, you have ashamed the Police all over and the Minorities in particular.
     Minorities do not get doors opened for them as the rest of us. It's worse when the Police, from whatever agency are involved. The Courts and the criminal justice system work toward their failure! One who seem to point out evil actions among his Police colleagues, get pushed out or silenced- that is Christopher Donner. The Police have each other's backs. they cover up a lot of abuses and misconduct. Let us work toward preventing a repeat of this senseless game of blame and unnecessary loss of lives by being who we are, a nation of laws.
     Good Lord, rest all their souls in eternal peace! My profound condolences to those who lost their loved ones.

   I don't agree with violence in any way, but this manifesto is very direct. The oath he took was to serve and protect in which he did, but when he saw his partner assault a homeless man and spoke of it now all of a sudden he his mentally disturbed. Chris has trusted the same system that failed him! No one wants to listen to his grievance because of the corrupt LAPD. and corruption doesn't stop there it is in many work places. All i can see is that this man Chris Dorner has always wanted to become a police officer to help and protect others. Only now they want to reopen the investagation, why didn't they do it before it came to this? No wonder this man has anger!

   I agree with both Raquel and Paul--I think Donner is not insane but has been lead to insanity. I think our media especially you, anderson, need to get behind this story and try to bring out the truth which will guarantee Donner's not being killed without without truth being known to the country.Not to say that the killings he has done are right-infact, I am sure he knows that himself. He has reached out to you and wolf because he wants you guys to find out the truth behind the tragic events. Maybe, you guys ( media) can help get enough camera's on him when he gives himself up. I am sure –given guarantees-he might give up. Probably, he is afraid truth will never come out after he has been killed and his actions will take a ' a couple of sentences ' on our news media and all this bloodshed will be pushed in the shadows of 'insane man', 'terrorist' and 'disgruntled individual'-the well-known words that are used by the law inforcement agencies all over our country. I dont think anyone realizes how scared we live in our own country being even seeing a cop-car in the rear-view mirror. Especially, if you are a colored or immigrant man /male. Donner is guilty of taking law into his own hands does deserve whatever penalty is for doing so in our laws But to turn him into a hunted animal and kill him like one will not be an answer, in my humble opinion. My prayer is that , with the help of media, Donner be allowed to surrender and then justice should prevail. We should watch the movie ' MURDER IN THE FIRST' for reference.

   So is the fact that LAPD officers just shot two innocent newspaper delivery women is collateral damage because "tensions are high" among the police force? I just listened to Anderson interview a former cop that completely tried to sweep this shooting under the rug. The more these things happen the more the LAPD seems suspicious. That said, shooting innocent family members of cops is reprehensible and this man should be brought to justice. But the LAPD shouldn't get a free pass on these allegations either.

    I think the reason why he sent you info is because he wants to talk and tell his story. If Someone tells you "I have nothing to lose" and has killed is not going to turn himself in. Silence is not golden. He doesn't trust the law. He want to talk before he gets judge in the court of law. This is a guy who has no history but served our country and our police force. Bratton is hiding something. How can you fire someone and not remember why you fired him. No matter how much you have on your plate at work, you don't fire someone like this and don't remember. Bratton knows something and he's not talking because he's banking "who would you listen too"? This guy is trained do u really think he's still in that area. He's probably 100 miles on the other side. Ask the Dorner to call in. Stop telling him to turn himself in, you will make him more mad.

      I agree with you Valerie no one is taking a look at what Doyner is saying. Everyone the keep interviewing is someone from law enforcement, the corrupt system that failed him. Interview someone that says this man has a honest grievance. From the use of his words and detail I can tell he speaks the truth. I'm not an advocate of violence but I can't say I don't understand. Doyner can not trust the system that has done nothing but fail him. These people have read the manifesto and act like he has no demands. His very first demand is to clear his name. they are banking on the average citizen not reading the manifesto but if they do they gain an understanding of Doyner and his anger.

      I think you have a point. Dorner reached out to AC specifically, more than he has reached out to anyone and who knows, maybe he would actually talk to him. And if it is off the air. Having said that, I doubt the FBI would risk that. Who knows how he will react?

      Valerie you have got it going on. Yes, they are hiding something. Black people are discriminated against every day. They get up with it on their minds, trying to figure out how to get around it. We get tired and than when we go postal than we are called crazy. That man is not crazy..he is hurt because he put his heart and soul into his job and just like my husband and myself...he got ran over by a Mack truck.
