I also think this a bit bizarre, but there have been times in history when these kind of people proved to be the smart ones. Lot's of Jews were spared because of hollow walls and hideouts. Lots of American blacks live today because someone took the time to dig a cellar or stash some food for their ancestors. Our own president and congress have bunkers similar to this mans. I'll probably never have one and don't think the probability is too high that I'll need one. But I hope I'm right and this man is wrong.
All I have to say is I wish him the best!
This isn't news, or some kind of interesting feature. Displaying a story like this makes the world dumber, because it means we're paying attention to people like this and not ltaking the time to understand important things. I guess it makes more sense to stop setting my expectations so high for CNN, and start going to true news sources like the NYT's and the Economist.
How in the heck does someone go about creating a bunker like that? What about a bathroom?
