America ought to be ashamed. It's so ridiculous how long it has taken America to finally want to do something about gun violence. Before the tragedy in Newtown, there have been a gruesome amount of young black kids being murdered throughout the U.S. It took 20 kids from middle class homes for people to want to bend to make something happen. I do hope that something will happen. Those gun owners who don't have compassion, an understanding, especially when it comes to a life of a child. You're cold hearted! But, I'm not surprised, look at how women's abortion rights are being treated, or what about education in schools. It does get much deeper than this, but even those issues get ignored and treated like they mean nothing. And it seems that it's always a male behind some dumb decision. But, Im not surprised as it took the white man over 200 years to finally go and sit down somewhere after violently forcing blacks to work and build America.
America's old politics need a facelift and a swift kick in the bum.
