Face of fake Te'o girlfriend speaks out

Diane O'Meara's photos were used without her knowledge to portray the girlfriend of Notre Dame football player Manti Te'o. Anderson Cooper spoke with O'Meara about the hoax and the contact she had with the man accused of creating the fake Lennay Kekua persona.

As pretty and well-spoken as she is, she'll probably get job offers for the news and such from everywhere. They might have done her a big favor. Scary that it could happen, though.

Diane O'Meara and Te'o should press charges against the "mastermind" for stealing her identity and ruining his football career- he intended to harm them both with this hoax. Only by doing so will the whole truth come out. If the "mastermind" was sent to jail maybe all the other idiots who do similar sadistic hoax would think twice.

If Manti Te'o talked to this fake girlfriend on the phone for hours and hours and hours. Who was he talking too?

I agree. It still doesn't make much sense.
