Well, in her slight defense, Belgium does have three official languages, and German is prevalent in most of the countries she passed through. I'd think she'd have gotten the hint around Slovenia, though, at LEAST. I hope she got her friend a nice bottle of rakija as an apology. :p
This is why you should always carry a current map in your vehicle at all times. If they can afford 150.00 on a GPS they could easy spend 5.00 on a cheap paper map.
Howdy Anderson; I love your journalism, I watch you often, and a real avid watcher of The Ridiculist. I wanted to make a suggestion (if it hasn't been done already) for the Ridiculist. With all the heated debate going on about the "gun issue", and the NRA shouting from the rooftops to blame video games and violence in video games (even though one title they cited was Mortal Kombat which has no guns whatsoever), it seems quite HILARIOUS that the NRA themselves recently released their own mobile app/game that has users shooting targets with various pistols and assault rifles. The hypocrisy aside, it seems it could quite well deserve a spot on The Ridiculist? What do you think? Q:)
What a fool. Logic and common sense are traits that this person lacks
When I was a kid there were a lot of jokes ( not funny anymore ) between the Dutch and the Belgians, about how Stingy the Dutch are and how stupid the Belgians are.
This woman driving to Croatia could be just made up joke by a Dutchman about the Belgians.
Unfortunately this case seems to be true.
