Just how are Doctors qualified and certified to talk about or teach firearms safety? I can't do the doctor's job and prescribe medicine. How are they allowed to do the job of a firearms safety instructor, and prescribe the safe use and storage of firearms and ammunition? I've never met a Doctor without military experience that had any correct knowledge of gun safety, much less being formally qualified to teach it or make recommendations. Given all the medical mistakes doctors make, maybe they are contributing to firearms accidents in the home.
