Ella Seaver is one of the Sandy Hook students going back to school for the first time since her peers and teachers were killed in the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. The students will be in a different building located in a neighboring town.
The first grader and her parents tell CNN's Gary Tuchman how they've prepared for the day and the mixed emotions they're all feeling.
"It's good, she needs to go back. They all need to go back. You know, they say the best thing you can do is get back to your normal routine, although that being one of the hardest things you can do," says Ella's mom, Aimee Seaver. She added that her fear is less about Ella's safety, and more about her daughter's reaction to the situation.
