Cards and letters rest with Noah Pozner
Noah Pozner's uncle, Alexis Haller, talks about what the 6-year-old's family loved most about him, and how they're honoring his memory. "He was smart as a whip, a bit of a maverick...loved his family more than anything else. When his mom would say 'I love you,' Noah would respond, 'Not as much as I love you,'" says Haller.
Noah's mother wanted to bury her son with notes from family members. A 5-year-old cousin, Ethan, made a card but needed a way to get it from Seattle to Connecticut in time for the funeral. On Sunday, Ethan's mother tweeted about the card and received a response from Jet Blue. The airline delivered the handwritten message, which reads "I love you Noah," with a drawing of a heart and flower.

Anderson, I thank you for your poignant reporting all this week. You choose to personalize a dramatic event which other new organizations have sensationalized and used for their own agenda. Could you please, please tell us the name of the performer of Amazing Grace? It is the most beautiful rendition I have ever heard. I have searched and searched, and cannot find it. Isn't it a necessity that you give credit to the performer, or say that you have her permission? I want to buy this. Others have asked, as well. Thank you for your excellent reporting, as always.
My heart is shartted into a million pieces, no words can express the sorrow I have in me! I never met any of these precious babies or loving adults but they will forever have a special place in my heart. May the Lord give the family peace and comfort.
It is awful that people use these poor victims to raise funds, like that woman who set up a Paypal account using Noah's name. However, I don't think that ANYONE should be accepting money on behalf of these murdered children, including family members. These little children lost their lives, this tragedy should not be cheapened by raising money using their name. Why are people doing that - let's respect these victims please - and not use them for monetary gain.
My heart is broken into 26 pieces that may never fully heal.My granddaughter is 6 and in grade 1 and I could never begin to imagine my life without her in it.I watch the news coverage and it makes me cry so I turn on a Christmas show and it makes me cry.These 20 babies and 6 heroes will not be here Christmas morning. Their parents, siblings, husbands, boyfriends, children and grandparents will have to open gifts without them. They will eat Christmas dinner with an empty chair at the table and there will be tears. I will be thinking of them on Christmas Day and sending hugs and prayers over cyberspace to them and the entire town of Newtown.
i just wanted to put this out there i live in JOHNSTOWN PA . and my daughters school goies to greater johnstown high. a student told many people on monday that he was going to shoot up the school friday Dec 21. our school choice to let the kid [ a boy ] go to school this week and didnt call the cops, it was also reported on our local news.. so i and many of my freinds are not sending our kids till he is out for good. even fines and alll
Noah was such a doll, so sad a life gone way to soon..and shame on the people who are trying to pull off these scams, during this horrific tragedy! Shame on them!
Anderson - it was awhile ago that I stopped watching CNN, I couldn't handle the sensationalism broadcasts were taking on, or the arguments with politicians or "experts". That being said, I have always been a fan of yours, much the same as I was with Peter Jennings...but something changed this past week. I landed on your coverage in Newtown and I listened - its hard for you, and I heard it, reporting is better this way, when it means something. I am reminded of just how human we all are, its not enough that Newtown is burying babies, but the ripple effect is just now setting in, and coverage cannot allow this tragedy to become an "episode" please.
Thank you for the tenderness in those moments when it catches you off guard, and not editing it out. Newtown and these 26 victims, they are not "just another story" - because of the babies and those who did nothing else than care and educate them, and allow them to dream. It's not just another story, because they were all of OUR babies, yours, your crew and the other reporters - so I hope you and those covering the town, not only bearing witness to, but sharing the grief also take note of your own ability to process the emotions.

@andersoncooper Anderson my son and I were talking about how to keep our kids safe He has 2 one at Akron U and 1 in the service I dont think any city in this country can afford to give up a police officer..but we do have reserve miitary who Im sure would be proud to protect our schools ,collage ect.they are being paid by our Gov.so lets put them to work they know what to look for they were trained to protect and serve Please help to get this message to the White House
Gun Control in America.. well it's a little out of control. First off, since removing all the guns is not going to happen lets drop that argument. Since there are a lot of good armed citizens lets solve the immediate problem. The school districts are a soft target.. make em hard. Begin with authorized, trained(previous training could apply) coordinated, armed volunteer citizens patrol the school districts starting immediately. The shooters that enter this environment do so because it is soft and their agenda includes domination. Once they see that this target of opportunity becomes defended they will think many times over before attempting a task that will most certainly not be taken easily. I will be the first to volunteer. I have 21 years of Naval Service, and over 8 with TSA. I have trained with weapons thoughout my life and have hunted since I was 14. I've never had a near miss with tragedy and have two young boys in school now. Each school District should have enough confidence in the parents who have children in school. First order of business; Treat our shools like we do our vital infrastructures.. harden them against a would be demented individual.
PS. I would rather get paid to do it.. also have many friends that would participate. Then discuss gun law practicly.
