Please explain how it can be a cliff when if nothing happens taxes will be raised some and there will be extra money. I think Trent Lott was on to several things just now with Cooper. Our congressmen and women work 2 days weeks and fly back home every other day for 2-3 days. Even Biden and Ryan say they leave their families put and come to DC alone. I'd like to see those running to represent citizens take the leap and take their families to DC so they can work full time for the honor of serving us. Something truly has changed and is screaming for a return to integrity and statesmen/women-like work ethic in Congress. I won't blame the republicans if nothing is passed before the deadline. And please, please could someone think of a new term to call this instead of a cliff? It's a deadline and that's all. Things will change if nothing is passed but the price of gas is still going to be the same and food prices are still going up and maybe it's all a distraction so that the healthcare debate is ignored. Thank you CNN for keeping it real. I didn't vote for the President but your reporting leading up to 11/6 was well rounded enough and partisan enough-at times-that is was easy to see through and still get to the meat of the issue.
If you are worried about the so called Clif you need to look up
WARREN BUFFETS 5min. fix. It is truely the best way. I would start a movement to get it on the ballot, but I don't know how. You would NOT have one poliction on your side.
