Hamas is the ELECTED representative of the people of Gaza, in an election that could teach both the US and Israel quite a few lessons about how to run democratic elections. What Israel thinks about that is irrelevant. Israel does not dictate to the Palestinians who will represent them in any negotiation. Period, end of story.
