Sure destroying Gaza would be like burning your house down to get rid of ants. It won't help! I think Hamas is trying to see how far (how much) Israel will spend shooting down $800 rockets with $50,000 rockets. The Palestinians need a real solution to peace, neither side seems to want it enough.
One thing I haven't seen addressed was the proximate cause. Yes, I know the rockets fired from Gaza are a direct reaction to the assassination of an Islamist leader but what I want to know is if rocket attacks were occuring prior to this. IOW what waw the Israeli justification for the assassination?
In the interest of balanced news, I would like to see and hear personal stories of Israelis also – not only the devastation in Gaza. Everyone on both sides of this horror initiated by Hamas is suffering. Let Americans know that too
Why do you not talk about the one military action that would halt the rockets? The total destruction of Gaza Strip would stop the rockets.
