The people that the GOP tried to marginalize, blacks, latinos, women, anybody different, all fled to the Democratic side of the aisle to leave a straight up message for the GOP with their votes and the outcome was their own fault. The Jack Welches, Don Trumps, Carl Roves will never understand what they did for the winner. They are too busy denying that they have any idea that they caused the result they so viciously tried to prevent and failed. They got what they deserved, nothing.
Republicans ,A.K.A., Christians just cannot count..They are not taking into consideration that their messages are going to be that much more repulsive to more voters in the years to come..The Earth is not 6000 years old and we do not want to live under a theocracy...Go away, die off , move if you like.. but let us repair the damage you've done by ourselves...
One more thing.. sorry I have to comment as I am a frustrated former Republican. If Republicans want people back.. they have to start compromising. Everyone seeing on TV that all the Republicans are coming together to make an agreement to vote NO on any tax increases for the wealthy is bad enough... its also another thing to have senior republicans make public statements that their sole job was to get rid of Obama. That's not their main job! Their main job is to do the people's work, not join in an a vendetta. That lost you alot of voters right there. When you make public statements that you will not support any bills in an effort to force the President to loose, YOU LOSE as well!
We are all Americans, so why don't you start acting like it. Republicans are acting like a bunch of Communists. Telling everyone what they should do and believe. I am an individual and I have my right to choose.. ohhh wait.. That's why Romney lost the election... Do you get the point now, Republicans ?
WELL SAID... ..the 47% that Romney counted out.. Funny now..that same 47% and some others... All Came Together , stood in long lines, dealt with the last minute voting changes... All for a common cause...Cr MLK ..I had a Dream...was Felt all over the nation...Face it, Changes must be made...starting here, starting right now.. May God continue to Bless America (even in our mess) as we continue to Move in a more postive direction..Praying For This Nation ....Restore n Rebuild. Let's not burn all of our bridges down..may have to cross back over.thru it.. May Peace n Unity Follows Us All .
What exactly did they expect. I used to be Republican. I changed years ago. Republicans have been working on a policy of isolationist pretty much. You go against the GLBT vote, you make horrible comments about Abortion, you try to take away women's right to contraception, you go and tell immigrants to deport themselves, and there is plenty more. It doesn't matter who says it. THEY ARE REP?UBILICANS. That's why I left the party and I will not return. I am a happy democrat now and they welcomed me with open arms. You can either change and listen to the American people or you can keep in your strict extreme right wing agenda. Either way it doesn't matter because how they are right now. I will never vote for any republican ever again. Don't go and tell me that you are a republican and didn't say that. If the democrats had done the same thing, you guys would get your millionairres to put ads all over about it. Just looks like the democrats were able to capitalize on it this time. Republicans have no leader and no concensus. It is a fractured party. So while you alienate the gay community, women, blacks, and the poor.. just remember.. They Vote! And they don't vote Republican for a reason. Thanks for listening to my rant.
btw.. the main reason why I left. I was a moderate Republican. With the Tea Party coming along and others. Its not possible to be a moderate Republican anymore. However... I can be a moderate Democrat ALL DAY LONG and they embrace me. I don't have to battle with them over my beliefs. They listen, and although they may not agree in some cases, atleast they hear me out.
Mr Graham can never be right. The problem with GOP is that they are out of ideas and IQ. If you can not see what is happening around you then you are not going to win any election. Come 2014 house will be gone from their control. American public is very much aware of what is good for them.
The first thing the GOP should do is to repudiate FOX and their fanatics staff and contributors starting with O'Reilly and Karl Grove, Hannity and that hyena M. Kelly. Then, to get rid of those religious ideologists left over from the Bush administration who are more concerned with dictating Americans how to behave and with supporting Israel in the manner the Crusaders did one thousand years ago than to address our problems. Racists, bigots and NRA extremists must be shut out.
Perhaps because your party has no leadership in relation to your demographics thats what happens when you ignore people in your own party like all the Ron Paul supporters who went to Vote for a real leader Gary Johnson...now suck it up and lead!!!!
Graham and the Republicans still don't get it. There's no definitive correlation between tax rates (income or capital gains) and either economic growth or job creation. None. Here's an idea: if you can't raise rates to Clinton-era levels (which is pretty much what Obama has wanted to do), keep the current rates and eliminate most deductions and loopholes. As long as the middle class doesn't shoulder the burden as it did with the Reagan tax cuts. That should raise more than the trillion dollars Graham claims that Simpson-Bowles would.
SO.....Redneck Senator Lindsey Graham and the Republicans are "allegedly" concerned about the Hipanic vote...but has made NO...real outreach to the African American community. The TRUTH is..,they plan to FALLACIOUSLY court Hispanics so they can win elections...while "hating them"...subverting their progress and alienating Hispanics...JUST LIKE they have against Black's since the first slaves arrived between 1501-1503! Republican's are always ATTEMPTING to develop a new tactic...ONLY to use and deceive! These "mojokers" DO NOT really care about people of color....

I'm ready for "Over the Cliff". Cut the hell out of everything, including that bloated military. If the Republicans don't want to increase Taxes on the wealthy, let them explain this at the next election.
I think both cuts/closing loop holes and tax increases are required on this one. It appears like the debt is too high for just cuts and closing loop holes to work. Even more revenue is needed.
Yes, and my concern about the GOP plan to lower rates but close loopholes, is that it seems easy to lower rates (like having your ice cream) but it is hard to ever raise them back up again (eating your veggies) if you need to. The rates are historically low right now. Closing loopholes to "pay" for lowering the rates further sounds nice, but once the loopholes are closed, the lobbyists will be lined up and ready to get every loophole back in the tax code. It is naive to think that the loopholes will not come back–and then we will have the lower rates plus all the loopholes, further exploding the debt.
I think we need to do both but raise the tax on the wealthest first before hitting it the middleclass.

It can't be about the Democrats and Republicans anymore and it's an America United Team effort.
Being mostly wrong on most of the issues = a demographic problem? No. It's really just a problem of being mostly wrong on most of the issues.
That is right....I regard the Dem's as misguided sometimes. The Republicans are just plain wrong. I can work/negotiate with someone who is misguided but when someone is messianic and just plain wrong....well such are Republicans today.
Get out of our bedrooms, stop moralizing and lead!!
