My question is why was our Ambassador in Benghazi? According to our State Departments' list of foreign embassys, we have no embassy or consulate in Benghazi, Libya. So why was Ambassador Stevens there? It is hundreds of miles from our US Embassy in Tripoli. What was this residence used for? Why would there be any US security around it? Was our ambassador meeting with Benghazi locals? Was he set up? Was this a CIA operation gone bad? Does this subject have national secuity issues? Why would there be any protests at a US consulate that did not exist?

Governor Romney's comments immediately after the Benghazi attack is political and selfserving. In the history of our country we support our president when on our citizens are attacked in times of peace or war.The facts are that it takes time to sort out conflicting statements made after an attack of this magnitude. To take drastic action before we know what really occurred in Benghazi is not in best interest of our country. We can no longer act unilaterrally in the Middle East or anywheree
else in the world. President Obama's administration has made progress and has restored diplomacy as a tool for peace. Iran has agreed to begin one to one negotiations on Irans nuclear program and Al Quada is on the run.
The Romney administration would destroy the progress being made and return our country to another program of war and destruction. A Romney administration would cater to the extreme radical right wing fringe of the party resulting in a program of war, threats, and coninued use of unilateral force in the Middle East. This will surely mean the economic destruction of America. As the world leader, our nation will collapse from within and cause havoc around the world.
