I am very sad about what happened. I am a pharmacist and very familiar with compounding world. Compounding pharmacies are regulated and in sterile practice these pharmacies must comply with specific regulations just like hospitals, etc ..... there are governing bodies who suppervise this practice. when there is a drug shortage on the market, compounding pharmacies are the once who can get the medicine to people, but noone seems to talk about it on tv like they do if something terrible happens. compounding pharmacies are essential in times when life saving drugs are pulled off market because they are not "profitable" for large manufactureres....no one talks about that on TV,
