Hey Anderson.Good show last night.
For the Love of God! Will someone, any one, please speak to the fact that the audience looks like a sea, an ocean of white people! Where is the diversity? As an African American, I find this very frightening. Even Mit Romney's family photo of 100+ plus people included NO minorities. Also very scary. Who are his true constituents? If I don't 'myself' or enough of "myself' or my people in this setting, this equates to the status quo pre-Bush era. Besides Condi does Mit or Paul Ryan know any minorities? America is a melting pot but you would never know it by the blanket of white folks at this Convention. Where were the Latinos? The conservative gay Republicans? the Handicapped? ....Amazing
Gergen is right, there is no substance. They spent the last three days feeding their followers nothing but pap. It is frightening to think a man running for president of an important country dose not recognize the importance of global warming. To insinuate that President Obama thinks he will lower the oceans in his lifetime only pays homage to and reinforces the ignorance of the silent majority that would spoon up such pap. Sadly lacking in adult recognition of true perils facing our world. Mitt's attention to family and motherhood were sentimental but nobody is arguing about his family ethics. We want to see a man who can work with Putin not try to put him in his place. He truly lacks what is needed to move in diplomatic circles.
Same old rheteric from the Republican Party tonight from Romney. When excatly is the Republican Party going to come into the 21st Century and stop living in the Black and White World of Pleasentville.
Hi Anderson, Glad you are at the convention tonight. I was impressed the other night when Romney's wife said that Mitt's good deeds were considered by him to be a privilege and not political talking points. Very noble words. But guess what, it's another Romney flip-flop! Tonight Romney's good deeds have become political talking points. Always remember, if sounds too good to be true, then it probably is not true! Does anybody really believe these Republican tricks and flip-flops? !!! Roy Heale
