Just finished watching the news coverage about the damage in Haiti caused by hurricane Isaac. I am appalled to see those poor people still living in tents. I can't imagine the trauma those children and parents went through as the hurricane approached. They lost their homes in 2010. If I remember correctly, the world donated $858 million dollars to that country to help rebuild those homes that were lost. The largest outpouring of money to help ..in history! PLEASE DO COVERAGE ON THIS ISSUE: WHERE IS THE MONEY? WHY ARE THOSE PEOPLE STILL SUFFERING WITH NO HOME? It's inhuman for them to have to live in those conditions, someone needs to be held accountable for the money. WHO, and where is the MONEY?Everyone is asking. The world should demand relief for those people NOW. Even if their government built them a one room house, it would be better than the conditions they're living in, exposed to the elements...shameful!. Please investigate and report so that pressure is put on those responsible for handling the donations.
In previous email I meant to say AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE.
Anderson.....WHY are these people in Haiti STILL living in TENTS YEARS after the hurricane? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MILLIONS of $$$$ from MILLIONS of people????? WHO IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHERE THE MONEY WENT???? This is WHY people are hesitant to give!!!
I don't see any reason for the Republican Convention to be in danger. If this is a legitimate storm, the buildings are built to protect them.
