I am MUCH more fearful of domestic terrorism than I am of foreign. The haters seem to be screaming ever louder, most likely because their way of thinking is dying. As long as certain segments of our society continue to demonize "the other", these kinds of events are going to continue to happen. A big irony in all this is that these people think they're the biggest patriots of all when, in fact, they are the most un-American.
The Concept Of "Us & Them" is the Root Of All Conflict.
I served with Page too, in A Co 9th PSYOP BN. What people don't seem to grasp is he was a rascist when he got there. He ddn't learn it because of the Army. This guy drove an orange VW THING, because with the exception of the orange color, it looked like a WWII NAZI vehicle. He came there with those beliefs, he didn't develop them there.
I heard TJ speak at the Simon Weisenthal Center in L.A, back in the late 90's. I believe he is completely sincere in his reformation. I knew the Sikh Temple shooter had zero idea he was shooting at some of the most peaceful people on earth when he fired upon them. My thoughts and prayers today are for the victims and thier families. If we are going to fight a "war on terror", perhaps we should work at eradicating it from within the borders of our country first...
