Monday on AC360: Anderson Cooper in Wisconsin to report on shooting at Sikh temple

Editor's note: Anderson Cooper will broadcast from Wisconsin on Monday with the latest on the mass shooting at a Sikh temple. Watch at 8 and 10 p.m. ET.

Women and children were busy inside the Sikh temple in suburban Milwaukee, preparing for their traditional Sunday feast. Religious leaders gathered in the building's holy room, ahead of the hundreds set to arrive soon for the next service's 11:30 a.m. start.

This peace was shattered, when what authorities believe was a lone gunman opened fire inside and outside the temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. This is as much about the GOP's message as it is about guns.... I hope you guys at CNN start asking the right questions. Their constant shout of hate the President... the country is being destroyed... we are being infiltrated being pumped out by Michelle Bachman, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilley (Although he has toned it down some) resulted in Wisconsin. These seething angry white men who have nothing to fear from diversity are taking the message literally. The GOP message trying to get whites to "Take back America" and hate Obama is causing xenophobia. Yes, that guy was probably crazy but that constant drumming of an ethnic president destroying the country and Michelle Bachman targeting an ethnic State Department employee only feeds the problem. On a national level and in the wrong ears people get killed. Sikhs are a peaceful people and did not deserve this. Hope Michelle Bachman is happy

It was entirely appropriate for Anderson Cooper to devote an entire show to telling the American people about each individual victim of the terrible shooting in Aurora. I hope he will do the same for the victims of the Sikh temple shooting, or will Americans care that much about strange brown people who wear turbans and have long hair? I can't wait to find out.
