I'm really shocked that people are shocked. Who doesn't remember the 5 year prenup? Paying her basically, to be his wife. It's ALWAYS been staged, from day one. Like this is news, it's been written on the wall from day one.
I respect Tom Cruise, not scientology, and my respect comes from the fact that Cruise may well be the only person on the planet with the proper constitution and wealth to successfully navigate the church as it is today, even amidst the rigorous corruption that seems to so many all there is to grasp once you lose yourself to a faith of humans. He is the man at the helm, taking down the ship of fools, the real captain, even he must know, it's only him and he continues and that's I respect him
I have recently watched several interviews Cruise has done over the years re Scientology and have been struck by how fanatical he is -to the point of creepy. Also, he comes across as arrogant and intolerant of others' opinions (e.g. his interview with Matt Lauer). It is not much of a stretch to believe that he was controlling with Katie and she probably finally had enough. It is clear she adores her daughter and maybe felt it was in Suri's best interest for them to divorce.
Well....Everyone tried to tell her.......
I think Katie Homes didn't like Tom Cruise as she talked about. Tom made an incredible declaration of love in Oprah's show and it was impossible for her to turn it off. So, Holmes has accepted to engage and marry Tom. But it was always clear, as pure water, very clear in her false smile and in her loose look, that she was not with him. Naturally, she loves Suri, but she isn't suffering, because she is in good water, with some million of dollars in her account, after a divorce that only hurts Tom and his fans.
You do realize that Katie and Tom have a pre-nup and Katie will leave the marriage with only the money she brought into it, right?
The sooner she loses this egotistical nutcase the happier she and her daughter will be
"Cruise is just in 'mid-life crisis'. He's ten years older than his babe, and looking for exuses for his mis-comings. That's normal inbetween movies, but not when you really have to get between what counts in marriage!"
Tom Cruise is clearly having some kind of an identity crisis. If Scientology teaches the "good" in us, then why did Cruise interrupt Matt Lauer so much during that interview? There is a massive contradiction here. I think Tom is seeing the years slowly slip away and he wishes he could be Maverick all over again.
gee we never figured that out cnn. its been the problem with the last 2 wives also.....she needs to drop this chump, live with her daughter..and he needs alone time and needs go figure himself out, this goes beyond his beliefs..he has issues.
