Where was the bus driver during all this? Why didn't he/she pull over and help quiet those kids down? They all have 2 way radios or phones. He/she could have called the district office and/or the school to report what was happening and to get some help. That poor lady......

I knew things were bad, but the language coupled with the vulgarness with what the children were saying was just incredibly disgusting. The pendulum has swung completely in the other direction, and it's time to get children AND adults back to a place of at least respect for others... and even some compassion when applicable. I am disgusted to think that these kids actually think they are smart. The lack of respect is all over with not just children, adults do this too. Instead of adults leading by example we have lack of respect everywhere, just look at most of the TV shows. It's no wonder to me why this is happening..... I see it all over. Just look at the behavior of adults and children on UTube. Just horrid. There are decent people and children out there, but these are often the ones getting bullied like they are the misfits of the world. Maybe instead of teaching the three R's... there should be classes on how to be a person with respect and morals in the world. We've got to try to rectify this Somehow and do it Immediately. Now yet again, letting the names of these children and their parents is an awful thing to do. Putting them in danger isn't going to help.

These for lack of a better word. Children should ne punished unmercifully just like they did to that elderly woman. There houses should become a media campground until we see and hear an apology from both the children and their parents.

Boy this grandma sure showed patience! I am surprised that the school bus driver did not do something, I would have stopped the bus, called the parents of those unruly kids and left them at the curb! We cannot allow children to have such power.

Parents of these children should punish them severly and teach them a lesson to respect for all ! They should have thenm volunteer at a nursing home or better yet, stand at the corner for one month holding a sign " I was disrespectful to the school bus montior and I regret it".

In regard to the bus incedent with Karen Klein, I am surprised the parents of the students who were instigating the bullying did not say "my little darling does not do that". I am also surprised the school district did not say "it is the responsibility of the bus monitor to stop such behavior". I have to ask-was Ms. Klein a bus monitor substitute? That is still no excue for the kid's actions. Mkae the parents take them to school.
