This member supports her Pastor, and I commend her for that! But I will say that she should have listened carefully to what the reporter was asking. She never gave a clear, understanding, response. I don't go along with gays or lesbians either, and according to the BIBLE, new testament... Romans the First chapter, gays, lesbians, homosexuals whatever they wanna be called are worthy of death and that is what Pastor Worly's message is. Being a leader you are going to suffer persecution when you truly stand firm on the Word and go against anythingthat goes agaist it. And to answer the reporter...No, adulterers and all the others he named shouldn't be put to death, because the bible doesn't say put them to death, not anymore. Anybody that is gay needs to understand through the Word of GOD that their lifestyle choice is wrong in GOD's eyes. And that's what matters... GOD's eyes. I ubderstand the Pastor's disgust and I can understand his reasons for saying what he said, but if you are going to preach, preach the whole BIBLE. His members are still wearing earrings and according to the books Genesis, Isaiah, and 1 Timothy thats wrong too.
This one man, his stupid congregation probably just helped NC unemployment rate go higher. What company would now even consider moving to NC. If this minister thought ill about gay people, all he had to state was that he is against it. If this congregation feels this way about gays and lesbians, then they undoubtedly feel the same about Blacks, who are supposed to remain loyal to their masters.
