I'm a very spiritual gay man who has been out since I was a teenager. In my 40's I started searching for a more in depth spiritual understanding of God and religion. I was blessed to meet a Born Again Christian Pastor who had left his wife or so he said. SSA is same sex attraction and he led groups on the subject and met many single gay men- in and out of bed. As I searched I also met a reparative therapist Mormon in Utah and he also was talking the talk, but he also enjoying the Gay Way to Heaven. My spiritual journey lead me to Jungian psychology- everything is about self and comes from within.
I agree with the Californian bill to ban therapy that tries to make gay children straight. It damages the child so badly, emotionally, which is so abusive to the child, I believe. There are risks with the therapy, leaving children despressed and suicidal. How is that beneficial, at all, to a child?
