If Trayvon felt threatened and thought his life was in jeopardy, didn't he have the right to stand his ground and defend himself anyway he could especially when he knew he was being followed. I guess I am asking, was he standing his ground if he hit Mr. Zimmerman
? does the prosecutor have the forensic evidence proving zimmerman lied and that why she charged him?
It was noted that the "stand your ground" law was used 130 times, as a defense, with only 19 guilty verdicts.
What was the disposition of the remaining 111 cases? How many were dismissed by a Judge? The arrest today
provides some measure of confidence in the legal system, and the work of Ms. Corey and her team. The Sanford police dept. was incompetent, and many people are grateful for the Governors intervention. Lets hope that the remaining hurls will be handled properly.
and fairly processed.
I would like to know why, if Zimmerman indeed had injuries from an altercation with, or an attack by Trayvon Martin, it was not mentioned right away, instead of weeks later.
Why is this case being tried in the media instead of in the court where it belongs? The media did help get a fuller investigation into this case (pushed by public opinion), but should know when to back off in order for the American Justice System to be able to do it's job. I will concede that some States idea of Justice needs to be examined, but the Attorney General of the United States is looking into this case and needs time to gather all the evidence. BTW, to keep posting old photos of the victim is not helping the cause, get real & post a current photo of this young man.
If you had done nothing wrong, why did you go into hiding?
What is so suspicious about wearing a hoodie? I'm an old lady and I wear one when it's cool.
LOL you go granny!
Trayvon did nothing suspicious.........Zimmerman is a murderer.
G. Zimmerman's attorneys are so unprofessional about their former client. They should never have said the things they did about him publicly.
