Well it going to ball down to voice recognition and someone that actually saw the shooting. If the state charge him on little evidence and no witness the state will lose and Zimmerman will probely sue and be a rich man. If the state is smart they still can charge him with involuntary manslaughter. Food for thought on how to solve this case. Zimmerman stated to the police that Trayvon had assaulted him. Well folks there should be some of Zimmerman DEA on Trayvon person specially his hands, finger nails and clothing for fibers. The police depatment didnt do a good job checking it. specially when they said Zimmerman head was shove into the ground. If there is no DEA on Trayvon the possiblty that the assualt didnt take place. The ploice department should be sanction for not checking.

Is it possible to slide from underneath someone leaving them face down?

Who was screaming for help?..........off cours it was Trayvon.....here's why; How could the larger man with a weapon be screaming for help and the smaller unarmed boy who was being killed remain silent?

I feel bad for all that has happen , God would want this matter handled, by those he placed in law postion , not decided by a state law. Someone was killed. A trail must take place . All facts must be presented. They did this in Jesus days . He should have been at lease arrested. What is fare justice coming to , in the whole world today . I fear the future for my granchildren , and yours. Everyone need to pray .

I still have trouble seeing how you can have all these eyewitnesses saying Trayvon was face down. You can't have someone fall face down in the situation described with Trayvon on top. I also find it troubling that I've yet to hear where the entry wound was (ie in the back or in the chest). At close range that should be easy enough to determine, even with a low-caliber gun. The only way I could see this as self defense is with Zimmerman on top and Trayvon ending up on the ground face up (ie shot in the chest while on top falling straight back), but seeing the face down being so consistently reported through every witness, this makes me think Zimmerman pinned him down and shot him in the back. The only real way to have Trayvon on his back with self defense an admissible claim would be both men standing and Trayvon attempting to take Zimmerman down, and Zimmerman firing down towards the ground (hitting Trayvon in the back and putting him on the ground face down). Would not want to be on the jury in the eventual trial >_>

Does Zimmerman have an active injunction against him..?... If he does he is not allowed to "carry or posses weapons/firearms"......and if he indeed violated a condition of the injunction why hasn't he been to court for that?

Since Zimmerman did'nt live or work security in that gated community...he was technically trespassing when he shot Trayvon. Zimmerman would have been the first to notice the ice tea and skittles which posed no threat. The person it seems had less opportunity to avoid the conflict was Trayvon. The 911 call showed the Zimmerman held acrimony towards the kid with out knowing anything about him besides the fact that he was african-american. Any injury sustained by Zimmerman ...in no way solidifies his claim of self defence. When a victim is in a life and death struggle with an attacker..it is pretty common that they'll leave marks scrapes and bruises on the attacker.Experts are saying with certainty that it was not Zimmerman screaming for help. Since Zimmerman was so enthusiastic about becoming Law Enforcement ..he is more than likely trained in firearm use....how to carry, draw, and discharge..ect. He also worked for a security firm. People don't usually go through all that to scream for help.

Its not trespassing if lived in the complex- the sidewalks are a common area. Actually, evidence of injury DOES support the possibility of Zimmerman's claim of self defense. Allowing an aggressive person to get that close to you when you are in possession of a firearm indicates Zimmerman either didn't have proper training, or was caught by surprise. At a distance, in the dark, while it is raining, with someone concealing their face with a hoodie, in a neighborhood that had had numerous break ins, it isn't really that strange that a resident of the complex might follow a suspicious character. It was dangerous, sure, and stupid, but not illegal. According to Trayvon's girlfriend, it was Trayvon that first turned and confronted Zimmerman. If Zimmerman already had his gun out, Trayvon probably wouldn't have rushed him, or if he did, would not have gotten close enough to grab him. Who screamed for help is really irrelevant. Its possible that Trayvon had the upper hand, and screamed for help when he realized that Zimmerman had a gun. Too late then.

What I'm interested in are the photographs of Zimmerman's injuries. That would cinch it.

Clarence – In case you were unaware, during the 911 call the dispatcher asked Zimmerman if the guy was white, black, or mexican, hence the reason he made the statement on the call. He wasnt on the phone just spouting off that the guy was african american. For pete sake, you make it sound like Zimmerman just called and said there is a suspicous african american man walking around in the rain, when in fact he was queried by the dispatcher for that statement.

Actually the recording pretty clearly shows that the term used was "Fu**ing Coon" so yes he was volunteering the information that not only was it an african american but that he was profiling him and a bigot to boot.
