Most CNN hosts are saying that there are no visible marks on Zimmerman, but on CNBC today they showed a close up of his head. It clearly shows a round mark on his head.

I want to stop all this Mean evil angry inside. I did see that video and it does show a gash or two in his head, i saw it on one of these programs, i just want them to know it is there stop saying i dont see any wounds.. Now what i think happened, Zimmerman raned up to Martin and grabbed him to turn him around, now i know Martin never attacked him, he was running from him, 1)Zimmerman said his head was beating into the concrete, where is the blood on the cement, it will still be there today, even if it was raining. 2) then he said Martin came up from behind and attacked him, Trayvon was kind of scare he did not know Zimmerman, he never announced his self. I do believe Martin, was on top beating his head but Zimmerman put his hands on him first, there were no reason for him to touch Zimmerman.(think about it, he was running away even zimmerman said that. but when zimmerman caught up with him, and said who are you, what are you doing here, martin continue to walk, zimmerman grabbed him and martin hit him in the nose and jumped on zimmerman which he had that right to defend his self and stand his ground, martin never saw the gun, until he was shot dead. this is why i say this, martin would have backed up and ranned from zimmerman if he saw the gun, why would he fight him for his gun, dont make sense. martin would have touched zimmerman if zimmerman had not put his hands on him (martin) would have not hit him in the nose and jumped on top on him. Stop sending hate just give us justice.

I do not understand why no one addresses Mr. Zimmerman's background more. Why was he a volunteer "watch guard"? Why did he call the police over 40 other times within such a short period of time? What did those previous 911 calls indicate? Why volunteer for this job? Did he have another job? Why did the community allow him to continue community surveillance if complaints had been received in the past? I think all of these things show intent, even without having to address race. Did Mr. Zimmerman every try to be a police officer in the past? If you spend too much emphasis on what happened and race, you can look past his intent. Which was the decision he made to pursue this person after the police told him not to. I believe that is the real issue and it is not being addressed enough. I think Mr. Zimmerman has some complex and possibly a lost spirit. His father was a judge, he could not complete college or an associates degree and he got his satisfaction out of life by patrolling the neighborhood. He was overzealous in this and made a bad decision, which cost someone his life. If he was really honest and sincere person, he would make a statement himself, an apology.

Regarding the video, if Mr. Zimmerman had his jacket zipped/buttoned aganst the rain, there wouldn't be any blood on his shirt; it would be on his jacket. In the video of Zimmerman in the hall, there is a dark splotch on the front-left side of the jacket. (his left, our right). Perhaps your video techs could try to enhance that area?

As for the case itself, I'm the first to admit I'm not privy to all the facts, much less to Mr. Zimmerman's state of mind. However, I believe Mr. Zimmerman was over-zealous in the role of Neighborhood Watch. For one thing, he should not have continued to follow Mr. Martin after the police told him to stop. For another, he should not have been carring a gun, and I say this as a firm supporter of the NRA and our right to bear arms. I don't know if Mr. Zimmerman has training in firearms or how to subdue a person, or a permit to carry a concealed gun. Even if he does, he was not acting as an officer of the law, but as a volunteer. Adreneline may have clouded Mr. Zimmerman's judgement about following the young man, but if he were not carrying a gun, Mr. Martin would be alive.
