KTH: Trayvon Martin witness steps forward

Among other new developments, a man says he saw George Zimmerman yell for help during the scuffle with Trayvon Martin. Anderson Cooper is Keeping Them Honest.

    When you get hit in the nose you will bleed all over the place. You will bleed on yourself and the person you fighting with. No blood on the back of the shirt where he was hit in the back of the head, no blood on the front of the shirt where as he was hit and had his nose broken. Where is the blood?

    Treyvon was walking away from Zimmerman and some how thier saying after Zimmerman called 911 and told not to follow him , why is Zimmerman saying he was walking back and was approched by Treyvon so he was reaching for his cell phone when he was jumped. He was probly getting his gun and was the one who jumped Treyvon and shot him in the back. He is guilty of murder He already used his cell phone so who was he trying to call? Fishy to me

    "A man says he saw George Zimmerman yell for help during the scuffle with Trayvon Martin"? Please – give me a break! What was Zimmerman scared of? A bag of skittles? Wasn't Zimmerman the one with the gun? I've never heard of anyone with a gun yelling for help against somone bearing no weapon. I say that so-called witness is supporting Zimmerman only because Trayvon is black. If Trayvon were white, this man would not have 'witnessed' anything. Certainly, if Zimmerman were black and Trayvon white, there is no question Zimmerman would have already been arrested. It seems that there is one set of laws for blacks and one for whites. I see it even here in Canada. We, black people, get judged by the colour of our skin all the time but it's our young, black men that suffer the most!!

    When does someone finally say we were wrong about Zimmermin?Zimmermin stoped following martin when told to martin actually followed Zimmermin punched him in the face jumped on him smashed his head in the ground and went for the gun then was shot in self defence nothing more nothing less.When did we deside Zimmermin was not trustworthy and a racist killer he was trusted to be the neighbourhood watch captain was well liked by neighbours and had no history of racism ,violence nothing. MAYBE IT WAS ZIMMERMIN WHO WAS WRONGLY PROFILED ?

    Why isn't this being investigated or at least communicated? This article also examined Zimmerman’s three arrests, which were all quickly expunged or buried. Could George Zimmerman's father’s legal connection be the reason why Zimmerman was never charged even after the lead detective recommended that he be charged with manslaughter?

    It concerns me that if Zimmerman had injuries such as those described by the friend or whomever, and he was questioned by the police and told them he was injured in an altercation with a person who was killed as a result, WHY OH WHY was he not given medical attention or was he. Are there doctors reports at the nearest ER -what?????

      There is a new video up now on ABC. It's a police video of Zimmerman arriving at and walking through the police station to be questioned. The quality is great. Zimm is clean cut and has a bald head. There is not a scratch on him. His nose is NOT broken, and the back of his head was not even bruised, much less bleeding...

    I don't understand why Trayvon's attorney aren't discussing how FL "stand your ground" law applies to Trayvon – as he was being pursued which was the first act of aggression.

    My heart goes out to any parent who has lost a child. And this is a sad crime for us all to take in. I may be alone in this but i don't feel this was a hate crime. I feel if middle age white women were to be watched for the crime activity around his home, thats who Mr Zimmerman would have been on the alert for. I feel he is more someone who feels they have authority with the crime watch group and a gun and this "power" over came him. He was driven to protect and be a hero. A horrible act yes, driven by hate, I'm not conviced. Again my heart goes out to the Martin family.

    Let's be clear...had George Zimmerman done what he volunteered to do which is WATCH AND INFORM THE POLICE a child would not be dead! Let's compare history's George has charges that FAR EXCEED a kid being suspended from school and smoking weed which several of our US Presidents previous and current had done! But none of them unlike George Zimmerman have DV charges!!! If anyone white or black walk up on me who are clearly police there is a strong change that I am going to take actions to get them out of my face which just may include getting punched in the face! STRANGER DANGER!!!!

    Trayvon has just as many rights as anyone else, walking home whichever route he chooses is his right as an American citizen...I'm not quite sure this "Stand your ground" law the defense is trying to use is supposed to be used in this manner. My family has said this a thousand times before, you don't have to be racist to hate someone.

    My questions are: How did Zimmerman and Trayvon come into contact after he was told not to follow. If Trayvon attacked Zimmerman as he claimed, what was said by Zimmerman to someone he was not to make contact with that solicited this attact? These individuals had never met each other prior to that night.

    OK, today we know that Trayvon may not have been the oh so perfect child, but a rather typical teenager. And one who felt the need to defend himself (pretty darn well) against a stranger persuing him. None of this changes the fact that the Sanford police bungled the case horribly. I just hope the myriad of investigations can bring this to a close before the New Black Panthers get there hands on Zimmerman and it escalates even more.

    Would you please ask this question? If indeed Trayvon Martin did "go for the gun" as Zimmerman claims, it begs these questions: Why was the gun visible to Trayvon in the first place? Why was Zimmerman carrying a gun? Was he brandishing the gun? Trayvon couldn't have tried to reach for something he didn't see.Think about it. If you were in a scuffle with someone and you saw that they had a gun, wouldn't you try to remove it before they got to it and used it on you? There was no need for a gun. Zimmerman was wrong for even taking a weapon with him to follow that young man.

      The 2nd amendment to the U.S. Constitution and the Florida state law says that Zimmerman had a right to be carrying his licensed firearm on his person at all times. The issue here is not the gun! The real question that needs asked is who was the aggressor? If Zimmerman was the aggressor here, he needs to be arrested and tried for murder! If Martin was the aggressor, than Zimmerman executed his right as a citizen of the U.S. and of Florida to defend himself!
