My friend, who recently lost her mother, had a lapse in her memory, and her doctors thought the episode probably was Global Transient Amnesia. Bales , it sounds like, had a similar experience. My friend still, after weeks does not recall events leading up to or immediately following her episode.

Could this have been avoided if Bales wasn't sent... for the 3rd time? After his 2nd serve – he had obvious signs of trauma and being forced to go for a 3rd. time – may have caused a neuro "short circuit" that triggered Bales to his awful and predatory violence... I think this is a very sad situation and still insist it could have been avoided had he not been forced to go again... Maybe I am wrong – but insist there is some truth in my theory.
