Two airlines have decided to let passengers choose who they want to be seated next to based on their Facebook profiles. Anderson chooses to add this to the RidicuList.

I agree with Anderson. Making every second of our lives a social marketing experiment is ridiculous.

Tis a puzzlement,on the way to disaster. Could it work? The airlines will cause the horror. Possible, not very probable. We'll watch this play right out. :).I wanna sit next to You,Anderson Cooper, daz right. Book it.

Well, this certainly does belong on the 'RidicuList'. No, I wouldn't choose my seating companion based on FB. It takes a while to figure out who is REALLY who. That's why I have about 18 "Friends" listed on my page as opposed to the hundreds some people have. I'd probably choose some serial killer. Better just trust the odds. The whole idea IS really pathetic though, isn't it?

Who cares who I sit next to on a plane as long as I get to my destination.
