    Alcohol by itself has caused many deaths...statistics back that up....in this case it seems also have paid a major role....doctors have little or no control over that....no prescription required! Blame the doctors as enablers if you wish....but don't forget the bartender. Unfortunately drinking is where it all starts in many cases ...and sadly where it ends....she might have lived without it ...that is the sad part

    I take Hydrocodone 10 mg four times a day for my chronic pain from fibromyalgia, but lately I have been cutting them in half to lower the dose. I also am prescribed flexeril s needed for muscle pain and I take a carvedilol for my heart. I have central sleep apnea, so I know better than to take a muscle relaxant or hydrocodone at night because I will cease to breathe. Hydrocodone paralyzes the muscles responsible for breathing and with central sleep apnea, the brain forgets to send the signal to breathe when I am asleep, so I take great care to stay alive, it's just that simple. RIP Whitney, I wish you were still here. xx

    I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this conversation. Please have more about the pharmaceutical abuse. Did anyone watch Torchwood last season? It's eerily similiar...

    I don't think it's right to hold Whitney Houston's family & friends responsible for not doing enough to save her. I believe that lack of awareness is the real culprit here.. Generally, people tend to believe what they see & when her friends saw her "looking" happy & not appearing out of control or falling down drunk they assumed she was fine. They just didn't understand the disease of addiction. Thanks Anderson for the in depth coverage & expert guests educating us on the subject of addiction. These kind of conversations can save lives...

      If at all, any of the media footage is accurate, regarding her turning flips, super hyper...just being an addict within its' self..should have been warning sings...quote un quote...You dont put a a Crack head at a table full of crack it's tempting..they will fall..This has hurt me deeply about Whitney....We as family & friends we often enable our love ones, being in denial...The time has come WE must stop....before it's too late

    Anderson I watched with interest your interview with Dr Drew and Dr Dupta....The part in the interview that gave me great pause was when you talked about your use of a medical perscription drug and you stated that you had consumed some wine and Dr Drew got all over you for that...as I watched he was deadly serious, so serious that it even caught me by suprise, as it did you!...then Dr Dupta explained what happens in the brain when you mess with these combinations...they even suggested that only two drinks could have serious results....what a very eye opening interview.....this should be repeated to the publiic again we havent gotten serious enough about medication and drinking....thanks for this story.
