In this country many Americans do not accept Gay people like everywhere. It is very sad that a boy committed suicide !
However I hope that they are not punishing that boy Ravi just because he looks like an Indian kid! Indian people do teach thier children not to interfere with other people and thier preferences ! Indian religions unlike Islam does not preach against or pro or punish gay people nor discuss it !! Indian people are not necessarily anti or pro gay but sympathetic about their need for thier rights It is sad that it happened, and I hope that boy Ravi did not cause it either!
This case broke my heart. My father committed suicide when I was 16. It was absolutely devastating for me. Furthermore, I have struggled with my identity on many levels during my life. My heart goes to the Clementi family and despises the ignorance of this country regarding sexual identity.
anderson is good with families that are in trauma.
