I've never had as much difficulty watching anything as this. This poor woman is clearly in an indescribable amount of pain. My heart just goes out to her. God comfort her and give her peace.

Haley Barbour reeks havoc on a society and should be held accountable! I think these pardons should be viewed as criminal negligence and punished as such! An example should be made of Barbour so nothing like this ever happens again!

I watched the interview you had with Linda Smith early this morning and have been thinking about it all day. I felt her pain when she was talking about her daughter. I think that if the shoe was on the other foot and this was Haley’s daughter (if he has one) he would not have pardoned this sick person that needs serious help with his addition problem. Now, that this sick person is out and free to drink alcohol and drive again, I hope he does not kill another innocent person. I think Haley should be held accountable for the future actions of all the convicted criminals he pardoned.

Seeing this mother cry like that is maybe one of the most tragic things I have ever seen. This story is totally outrageous. This pardon should be revoked, and Haley Barbour owes that girl's family an apology, and frankly, she also owes her constituents an explanation.

This mother is so wonderful..and her daughter was so loved..and the system is SOOO CORRUPT!!
That is what has to be seen here...the system is corrupt...and needs to be shut down, and start
fresh with ethical judges, ethical government leaders....what we have is rampant, systemic CORRUPTION!!!!

I agree that the pardon should be revoked,Such a tragic mistake that Haley Barbour made by letting a person with that many DUI's be pardoned,It is now clearly obvious that the driver had other intentions for his second chance,Something that the smiths daughter will never get.
