   How come the news casts never mention the name of the cruse line or no one interviews the cruse line itself about this accident.

   Somebody gave his lady a 3 year old girl to take with her and rescue, and she gave the girl back to the parents saying: be with your daughter? Did I get it right?

   While the behavior of the Captain and several senior officers is at the very least reprehensible, the far bigger issue is whether there exists a major design flaw in the building of the Concordia (and its many nearly identical vessels in the Carnival Corporation's fleet) Cruise ships are allegedly built so that if water seeps into one side of the vessel, a combination of watertight doors and pumps are supposed to either automatically or from an action on the Bridge, act so as to maintain an equilibrium in the ship's balance to prevent (or postpone) severe listing and eventual capsizing so that life boats on both sides of the ship can be safely deployed. Clearly that didn't work in this tragic event. The implications of this for all of the cruise industry's players are enormous. It seems to me that all the focus is being put on human error, to wit, the behavior of the captain and officers, is being done to avoid attention to this larger issue. And between the clout of the shipyard, Fincantieri, the cruise lines, the Italian unions and politicians, this is a cover up that Anderson Cooper 360 needs to explore and publicize.

   I have never been on a cruise and had planned on going one in March,Well i guess I will not be going ,when I hear life boats not working,OK Sure this does happen often,But when are the life boats tested?
   Ill just stay on dry land .
