After viewing the video, it appears that this is being done for her therapist. She mentions previous audio recordings and has now switched to video. That being said, she's certainly smart enough to know how to protect that material so it doesn't seem much of a mystery as to how it became public. She craves attention, even if it's negative.

I lost my daughter to a very rare and nasty syndrome 10 years ago come January 9,2012. I have great sympathy for mothers who lose their children and I make great allowances for them, as others have done for me. Ms. Anthony does not even register on my radar, unless it is to feel a sense of evil. I don't know what blessings she is feeling but they probably come from pop culture because, in order to recover from the loss of a child [if that is even possible], one must go through a period of grief that is horrible. She allowed her child to be put in danger and most probably caused her death I have no sympathy for her and more importantly, no interest in her or her life.

Why does Casey Anthony refer to this as the first in a series of "video blogs" if she had not planned on sharing it. Personal journaling is one thing, a video blog is made to be shared.
