Military defectors battle security forces in Homs, Syria. A journalist went undercover to obtain video of the violence in the country.
I keep hearing that NATO and particularly the United States should intervene in Syria to liberate it just like how Libya was liberated... I'm aghast at this thought to say the least. My question is why can't Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE and other members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) or the Arab league form a coalition and liberate Syria. On one hand the Arab league opposes western intervention in their countries; on the other hand they want NATO and the United States to do their dirty work. These are simply double standards...It high time the Arab league get their act together, pull up their socks and liberate Syria by sending their own armies...
