The RidicuList is funny, and Anderson Cooper is always wonderful, but the Matt Damon bit is waaaay off the mark. Damon was politely asked an intelligent question by this inexperienced young reporter, a question that obviously challenged his narcisstic view of himself and violated Rule #1 of movie-star-interview code. That rule is, do not challenge my views on any subject under the sun or you will be put in your place. And that is exactly what happened. To credit Damon with a tough-guy, "don't mess with me" sort of flattery is something he doesn't deserve, at least in these circumstances. Instead, credit the young reporter for asking him a smart question that he was incapable of answering honestly.
