I agree with the young lady at the end. We have to make that change.. But when I think about the mindset of some of them and how they go about the situation, I would have to say that I really feel that it isnt going to change. I feel that the blame is on us students really.. Until someone does something about it that will be effective enough to change the mindsets of the students who do the hazing, I think this problem will always exist. The law has not changed anything. they know it is against the law, yet it goes on.. It is kept secret too, until something like this happens... So someone needs to come up with an effective plan, not something that sounds good to our ears... What will change the mindsets of these people to the point that hazing is viewed by them as wrong and unnecessary?
And also, what if they do view it that way already? Yet they still haze despite the fact that they view it this way... They are acting as if they have no conscience. They do though... How do we get them to listen to that? I think that going into things of that nature is how we can find an answer that will be effective to the point where these laws won't need to be set in place.
