How does a 26 year get hazed? I remember hazing being for freshman. Was Champion a Freshman Drum Major?
FAMU hazing culture and riguals have always be and still are a part of the FAMU campus culture. I was hazed myself back in 1962 as a junior on the 1962 Kappa Alpha Psi line. Dr. White was an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi and FAMU marching "10" drum major. I must say he was a good one!
My prayers go to his family. Hazing is not happening at the college level, but in high school band programs as well.
