Wow this story is produced with CLEAR bias. I was spanked (it not beating) as child my parents my grandparents and so on. All very loving giving examples of human beings, and all very successfull. DI you not find those who profited from this, i could produce a story explaining the benefits and find more who were help thrue LOVING corperal punishment.

My entire school life I was in schools that paddled and I got plenty of them. I am not religious at all. But there is a place for this. Its called consequences. If you screw up as an adult you face these and they are very real. We are raising a wimpy future for ourselves folks, look at what our politicians think they should get away with... And DO!!. One of the biggest problems with grades and conduct in schools today is this attitude. I am grateful for the way I was bought up. I learned hard, stern embarrassing lessons in school and they prepared me for my life. I paddle my kids when they step out of line enough that I have to get their attention. "Time out" has its place but is used way too often. It is simply a joke and actually stealing a lesson from your kid. The punishment should always "fit the crime". Use it when its called for. Set barriers/boundaries. They will love you for it later and appreciate it in life.

    Good luck America.

There was so much not NOT included in this interview. So much more happened to Doug that they were blocked from showing and there was more than just spanking going on there, The emotional and verbal abuse and alienated of certain children and lack of love and compassion is more than most could fathom. Thank you to Gary and his crew for bringing the story to the surface and we pray the WHOLE truth does come out eventually, Lawyers can only block the truth for so long.
