Penn State is a "state supported" university. It is not fully funded or owned by the State of Pennsylvania. For 2011-12
the state's contribution to PSU's budget was only 14% (per the PSU budget office). 78% was from tuition and the remainder came from other sources. The State of PA, based on its financial contribution, has no right to be in total
    control of Penn State.

CNN dont stop looking for others involved in the Penn State Issue. Has law-enforcement taken the suspects computers yet?? I bet there is something on them!! You guys need to help get the victims and their parents to another State. I think they should be protected as much as possible. Let the children testify out of the court room setting. How did the guys involved with this avoid Jail?? I think someone is trying to pay the court system off. I read something about a DA that disappeared..I wonder if these Sex-Offenders ever traveled outside of our Country?? Based on information that I have read over the years..usually this type of Sex-Offender makes special trips outside ot the country to find Prey..From what I have seen on the News tonight..so many locals in the area are attempting to avoid CNN about this issue..I think that it is important to Protect the Victims!

Anderson, this mess is beyond belief. It looks like the "team" bankrolled the entire town (I live in a football/college town...), and I'm certain, too, that it was dismissed and covered-up, in part, because these kids were the least powerful. I guess they all just thought, "So what, they're just throw-aways anyway." Also, I wonder if McQueary had walked in and it was his child up against that wall, then what would he have done. Each child is a miracle of life. Period. Thanks, Anderson, for all your work.

Penn State is an excellent university with over 40,000 students in State College, a well respected medical school
in Hershey, PA and hundreds of thousands of successful alumni. Why must you trash the reputation of an entire
university (and its graduates by association) over the immoral and illegal behavior of a handful of men Please spend some time describing the many good things about the university, its students and alumni. Anderson Cooper is crucifing
an outstanding academic institution with his total focus on the crimes of a few.
