Penn State is a disgrace! i would not send my kids to Penn State if it was the last university on the planet. !! I am totally disgusted with the behavior of the adults in this tragic situation.
Perhaps the wrong thing here is being investigated. In 1994 a fifty-two year old man became a sexual predator and pedophile. Is this a bizzare instance of male menopause. Perhaps he had a stroke, or a traumatic injury to his head that could result in the sudden onset of these behaviors in 1994. Could this happen to anyone. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of some earlier pre-disposition. Sandusky was closely associated with Penn State since college football player days (did Paterno recruit him from high school?). Since 1963 he was involved under Paterno's supervision as his coach and then his boss til Sandusky's retirement except for 1967 and 1968. If he'd been a pedophile and sexual predator throughout his life (as frequently is the case in such disorders) it is difficult to believe that Paterno didn't know this many years ago. Or perhaps something suddenly happened to turn the Defensive Coordinator of perhaps the cleanest college football program in the country to transform him at age 52. If it happened to him, could it happen to you?
I am "shocked" to find out Sandusky was married with 6 kids. I have yet to hear nothing about this? His wife was never suspicious having all these boys spend the night in her basement?? Also, listening to sports radio (ESPN) a Penn State recruit mentioned Sandusky went last year to see him play. He told the recruit he liked the way he moved. My question is why if retired was he on Penn State recruiting trip?
