Anderson Cooper gets a firsthand account of the violent crackdown in Syria from Zaidoun Elzoabi, a man brave enough to speak out. Although he is part of the opposition, his father is a member of the Syrian parliament. He says many members of his family have been detained, and he has been questioned.

Giving Zaidoun voice is an important step in helping the world to recognize the crimes against humanity being perpetrated on the Syrian people. They are unarmed and almost unheard. I pray for them, I pray for Zaidoun and I thank you for seeing the importance of this historic and painful event.
Hello Cooper
I Would like to add something that it seems to be forgotten by the entire world and got to excited about Syrian president going down and that Syria is suspended from the Arab League. They suspended Syria for what so called the army is killing its people and that it needs to stop, but why didn't they do something about Bahrain and how they people with no weapons are being killed from children to adults and nothing have been done about it THATS BS
