We Canadian's always get blamed! LOL Canadians know and LOVE Gumby.
Anderson, I love you to death, but picking on Isha was not fair. Why do Americans think that we know everything about them when they don't know much about themselves or anyone else's culture. I'm with you Isha, I am originally from Calcutta and am now a Canadian I hadn't heard of Gumby nor the other character you mention.
No hard feelings Anderson, love your show. Can you ask CNN to air both hours of your show around the world – I am now living in Thailand and we only get the first hour and its not even repeated like all the others. Oh, also Good Luck with your new talk show. Love to see you laugh.
Who is Gumby? Me too do not who Gumby is!
Most of us Brits here in the USA know Gumby...... Monty Python Gumbies (you'll need to search them on google)....
"My brain hurts" 🙂
It seems that Anderson, who I love dearly and named my cat after, knows Gumby as a claymation character but doesn't really know his origin. Gumby and Pokey are characters based on things children use. Pokey is a toy horse. Gumby is a pencil eraser. Erasers were originally made of vegetable gum. Gumby is the color and shape of a gum eraser.
