Fine the Romney critique is mind blowing... taxes and spending cuts off the table, then how do you reduce debt ?Pray ala Perry?
Or OK perhaps he means the Republican mantra of no tax changes, but more like tax reductions, and huge Job destroying government program cuts, the latter comment not me but 27 out of 36 leading economists at a recent meeting, where these draconian spending cuts were analysed. Many also said further stimulus was needed for economic recovery and Job growth.
Get real ALL congress people this is not about another term or not for Obama its about getting America back to its leading economic position it has held for decades. That serves all parts of the countries Interests, middle class and the rich.

Hodgson.
From where you're on all issues, you can"t go to Washington with that bagage.
Mitt, you just din't get it! Try Try again.
Shameless vaudevillian effort, please take note of comical apprearance of "heckler/Romney camp operative, almost as sad! was Romney's obvious "canned, scripted" reply of "I'll never raise taxes, NEVER". Former Governor Romney must have gone over a lot of G.H. Bush speeches to come-up with that line. More amazing!! is the manor in which Tea Party loyalist have transformed a fiscally conservative party into a cult bent on creating an entitlement state! for this country's top 2%.
I don't mean nor wish to be disrespectful to Romney, but his level of honesty ought to concern every well-meaning American. If the average Joe goes before a judge or government agent and displays such disregard for truth and integrity, he would be charged with perjury and probably sentenced. If this is a man who wants to lead America, at such a critical moment, God help us. This is becoming chronic- his ability to be dishonest, flip-flop and show an unfortunate character. How did he get to be governor? No one is an angel but how many times can he be this immoral before he is relegated to where he ought to belong? He is worse than kids who don't know right from wrong.
A lot of usTexans are appalled by your even mentioning Perry as a contender for President. Perry didn't create jobs; he presided over one of the worst deficits in the state's history, massive budget cuts, huge layoffs, and severe damage to the the public education system. When this deficit was first made public, Perry claimed that TX had no deficit because the TX legislature being biennial hadn't convened yet and then established the new budget with massive cuts for the coming year. Because Republicans control the state government, his misrepresentation stood. Investigate his real record.
Anderson Cooper is a newscaster. Where politics is concerned he is supposed to be bipartisan. He is not being that. I expect more from him. If he takes sides he should keep those thoughts it to himself. Presenting the facts and giving the person the opportunity to defend his own point of view.
I can't believe that Mitt Romney is running again. How much money does he have to waste? again.
y is it the gop dont want to help poor folks but will do everything thay can to help rich folks. poor folks are who make this the usa. we spend the money, we do the work we make the us go. so y do we have to flip the bill for america. obama want rich folks to do their part and he's rich so that mean he has to pay y cant u.
