Its a very sad thing that the people of Somalia are having to suffer through. But, it has been going on for years, and they continue to multiply like rats. We can't take care of someone who will not do for themselves. Charity also needs to start at home.. where are the commercials and documentaries and financial aid to the poor, the homeless, the jobless and the hungry in our own Country ??? No more foreign aid !!! It need to stop now Anderson !!!

I'm glad that I watched this online. It was the most informative and helpful of all of the interviews that you've had with "celebrities" on this crisis. It is good to know that Kenya and Ethiopia are not affected by the drought as much because the U.S. (and probably others) have helped them improve agricultural practices in the last 10 years. That means that this is preventable.

Anderson – you have once again missed the story of the week – you should be back in NYC doing in-depth reporting on the financial crisis and debt problem. Somolia is not our problem – let the Arabs fix it – we have no money – and have our own probems. So get over yourself and report on what America cares about.

The US Army has reverse Osmosis purification units that are huge and mobile, why not deploy them to a secure area also deploy or buy a desalinization unit with this you can do more than with money.
