While it is true that I do not support the dictatorial rule of Egypt's Hosni Mubarak, I remain very cautious that his arrest may send the wrong signal to other Arab dictators who were comtemplating reliquishing power peacefully. They may now cling unto power realizing their fate like Pres. Mubarak. He was a very strong ally of the U.S. This also sends the wrong message to would-be strong U.S. allies. I think he was abandoned by the U.S. though he stepped down peacefully due to U.S. pressures and persuasions. The U.S. should have given him asylum.
