What is so radical about asking the Government to live within its means?
Transferring 1 dollar out every 4 generated to the Government is not
the way to have a robust and sustainable economy

I am tired of listening to republicans lie. For example, Connie Mack saying if we just cut one penny per dollar of spending we could correct our economic problem. One hundreth of a trillion is just 10 billion dollars. 10 billion dollars per trillion does not make a dent in our debt. One of the key elements of any over extension is to generate income. In this case that translates to tax revenue. If the senate and congress cannot reach agreement on how to generate revenue then President Obama should exercise the 14th ammendment and raise the debt ceiling.
I just wanted to say thank you for trying to keep them honest. I admit this video has only further frustrated me with Congress and Politicians in general but, you state the facts. You are trying all you can to say "This is what Americans wants and this is what they think Americans want". Thank you and keep up the good work.
In your own household, when you are in debt, you stop going to Starbucks everyday, you don't go shopping at the mall and you don't pay for friend's meals. You cut your spending on unnecessary things. This may even have to cut spending on meals and eat pasta for a week. What gives the right for the government to be so different? We continue to spend and we continue to give other countries money. Raise taxes on all Americans. The "super rich" is a small minority that is clever enough to find tax breaks. Raise taxes 2-5%, and let's not touch social security.
Why are they only focused on cuts? Because NEITHER party is actually interested in controlling our debt!
