Maher, rocket scientist? Europe has much: higher unemployment, higher debt and higher taxes versus the US's lower unemployment, lower debt and lower taxes, so we should raise Taxes??? this guy is a joke...

    Anderson,
I don't know why you would bring on a guy like Bill Maher for this segment. I am deeply disappointed. Just about every comment was a personal attack or critical generalization. The guy doesn't have a single positive thing to add to the debate and yet you pull someone from the extreme to cover the GOP debate. I would love it if you could present every angle like you title suggests but I don't see it. I have liked your show, I have read your book. I come from a moderate republican slant but don't watch FOX because of the hatred from the commentators like Hannity. I felt in general you gave a more comprehensive view put this show was the last one for me (barring some major crises-which you do a great job on the ground). This show had all the hatred from the left that I see from Fox News on the right. If we are ever going to come together to deal with the major problems we face as a nation we need to give more face time to those trying to reach across the table and less to guys like Bill M, who couldn't find common ground with half the people in the progressive frame of mind. I am done with the network news–Not that this show was that terrible but it was one more like it and one too many for me.

Anderson, I could not believe that you let that halfwit Maher call Michele Bachmann stupid, Dumb like a housewife or a stewardess without calling him out. He obviously has a woman being smart problem. Bachmann has a Masters in Law, Maher has a BA. Please do turn you show into another Lardball or Teeth Overbite clown fest, I have always thought you did a good job.

When Bill Maher made reference that Michelle Bachman is like a "stewardess" I wish you would have asked him to define " Stewardess"? I had to remind myself that he is a "Comedian". I am a Flight Attendant but in 1973 I was pretty much what the public defined a "Stewardess". Then, as now I take my responsibilities as a safety professional and first responder seriously. If you should decide to have another exchange with him you might suggest that he thinks before he speaks.

Bill Maher comes off as very arrogant and annoying. CNN is becoming more and more biased in their political views. Everything supports democrats and not republicans. The media needs to stay out of politicizing! There are good democrats as well as good republicans. All sides should get equal time in positive and negative ways. Media should not try to influence voters that job belongs to the people running.
